Lee met Robert Palmer at Bloodstock festival 2016 and they got talking about fundraising and custom picks.
An idea of a custom pick for Robert's good friend Darren J Burch (aka Red Lab Project) was discussed and PCAC are proud to share the start of what will no doubt be a very emotional story. Darren has had Melanoma (type of skin cancer) for 7 years now. During this time, he has undergone numerous treatments and operations. Unfortunately, he has had multiple set backs with other symptoms and, due to being self employed, has had to keep on working, To take his mind off the cancer Darren writes and performs as Red Lab Project, a solo instrumental blues and rock act. With these picks, we will raise money for a cancer charity of Darren's choosing. However, at the time of posting this, the charity has not yet been chosen as Darren is completely unaware of the involvement from PCAC and the custom picks. Hope you like the surprise Darren :) Lee will post full details on the Facebook PCAC page when everything is finalized and we have the picks and charity details ready to share. Please check out Red Lab Project on facebook and soundcloud

This week saw Lee do a live feed of Pick Bingo or Pingo as it has now been called. 100 lucky players each pledged $13 to take part and they all received a pick drawn at random from the many picks that have been donated by bands and collectors from around the world. $1200 was raised in just over an hour which helped to take the money raised so far by this amazing group to an incredible
$30,000
This is a massive achievement from the group and thanks go to all of you for your continued support in this project. Its because of your support and generosity that this project is able to donate so much to help so many people.
If you want to join in but don't fancy bidding on the many auctions, please buy the 2016 pick set (image below). That's the one thing that started this all off and we really want people to buy that to support PCAC. All the pick companies step up to support PCAC and it would be nice to say once again... It sold out and raised $4000. Checkout the Venom Inc. news feed
